We, the friends and “tías” of Cass and her daughter Vera, have come together to launch this emergency fundraiser after a house fire turned their lives upside down. After an external fire spread to her property this morning, it quickly ripped through her home and the resulting flood from the water required to extinguish the flames caused even more damage. The cozy, art filled space Cass had built for her little family is now largely gone.

Thankfully, Cass, Vera, and husky Luna made it out safely but they’ve lost almost everything else. As a single mom, Cass now faces the overwhelming task of rebuilding their lives from the ground up. They need help replacing essentials, finding stability, and simply making it through this incredibly tough time.
