Help Casper walk normal again
Donation protected
Hi! My name is Flor and I'm fundraising for my beautiful one year old Great Pyrenees puppy named Casper, who we adopted a year ago from the Bourbon County Rescue Shelter. We were a little hesitant at the beginning, but fell in love with him the moment he was out of the shelter, looking shy and ready to take on our little world. The cute ball of energy has filled a hole that was left after our other dog, Max, passed a year and some ago. He's nosedived into our lives, and filled it with everything love and more. He looked like a normal and healthy puppy, he gnawed, he ran, he jumped, and absolutely adores walks, everything that entitled a very happy doggy. A few months ago we noticed that he started limping and later on he developed a lump on his back leg. We took him to the vet, and he was diagnosed with Grade 4 Lateral Subluxating Patella. He now limps casually, and constantly hops to support his leg on the walks that he loves. He needs a surgery to be able to walk like before and do all the things that he enjoys doing. The little bundle of pure energy is a needed part of our lives, and it's hard for me to imagine him not loving the things he always did due to a circumstance. It is an expensive and unexpected surgery. Any help either monetary or just by sharing this post will be greatly appreciated!! Casper, my kids, and I will be forever thankful!!
