My dear boy Casper had an accident that made it hard for him to walk on his own. He ripped his meniscus and ACL, and sadly, this isn't the first time. He has already had this surgery on his other hind leg. Because the injury is now seen as a pre-existing condition, no insurance company will pay for it, so we have to deal with it on our own.
Right now, Casper has to be carried everywhere and can't enjoy the little things he loves, like playing and just being himself. I'm doing everything I can to get him to an orthopedic specialist along with his primary vet in order to manage his pain and get a plan for surgery. I'm trying to get the money so he can have surgery and treatment, which will give him the best chance of walking again and getting his freedom back. I don't want to see my son hurt or in pain. It would mean the world to me if you could take the time to read this or pass it along. I don't want to think about the worst because I want to spend every minute I can with him.
