Hi everyone,

My name is Raph and I created this GoFundMe because my cat is currently facing serious health issues and requires veterinary care that has become very expensive very quickly. Over the past week, I have visited three different veterinary hospitals. Anyone who knows me knows how much my cats mean the world to me.

I adopted Casper six months ago and he just turned one year old on April 27th. He is the sweetest cat, incredibly affectionate, loving and gentle. I am doing everything in my power to make sure he receives the treatment he needs but the costs of examinations, medications, diagnostic tests, hospitalization and possible ongoing care are becoming more than I can manage alone. So far the bills are elevated at 4 000$. I am 24 years old with a part time job and starting school in August this year.

Casper has been in very poor condition over the last week. He has stopped eating and has been vomiting constantly. He is currently hospitalized and receiving around-the-clock treatment. The wonderful veterinary team has been providing him with intravenous fluids and continuing their investigations to determine why his health has deteriorated so rapidly. At this time, Casper has been diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease, a condition that will eventually affect his kidneys’ ability to function properly.
