Cashton is a handsome little boy with the brightest smile and the strongest spirit. From the very beginning, he has faced more challenges than any child ever should. Cashton lives with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy caused by a severe hypoxic brain injury known as HIE (hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy). After a completely healthy and normal pregnancy, a much-needed C-section was delayed for several hours during delivery. During that time, Cashton was deprived of oxygen and blood flow, resulting in a full-body injury affecting all of his organs, with the greatest impact to his brain.
Nothing can prepare a parent for a brain injury—especially when everything seemed perfect just moments before.
Since his traumatic birth, we have made it our mission to give Cashton the best life possible and every opportunity to reach his highest potential. He works incredibly hard every single day, and we are determined to keep fighting alongside him.
We are asking for help to raise funds for stem cell therapy and intensive rehabilitation therapies this year.
With your support, we hope to get Cashton to his third stem cell treatment. He has already completed two rounds of stem cells, and we have seen meaningful gains after each trip. Stem cells need movement to be effective, which makes intensive therapy afterward absolutely essential.
The funds raised will go towards stem cell therapy, Phyiscal Therapy intensive, and functional neurology intensive.
We know this is a lot to ask, but we are hopeful that with the support of our community, we can continue giving Cashton the tools he needs to grow stronger, gain skills, and keep moving forward.
Every donation, share, and prayer means more than we can ever express.
Thank you for being part of Cashton’s journey.
