Hi my name is Paulette, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my dog, Cashmere. Cash isn’t just a pet she’s my baby, my comfort, and a huge part of my everyday life. Recently, she was diagnosed with Intervertebral Disc Disease *IVDD*, a condition that has suddenly changed everything for us. Almost overnight, Cashmere lost the ability to use her back legs. Seeing her go from a happy, active dog to being partially paralyzed has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever experienced. She still looks at me the same way, still wants love, and still has that same spirit but now she needs help just to move. Right now, I am doing everything I can to get her back on her feet. She is undergoing laser therapy and steroid treatments, which gives me hope that she can regain mobility. These treatments are critical for her recovery, but they are also expensive and ongoing. I’m not one to usually ask for help, but I truly can’t do this alone. Between vet visits, treatments, medications, and supportive care, the costs are quickly adding up. If you can donate, no matter how small, it would mean the world to me and to Cash. And if you’re not able to give, sharing this fundraiser would help us more than you know. Cash is a fighter, and I’m not giving up on her. I just need a little help to give her the chance she deserves to walk, run, and live her life again.
