Help Cash recover and come home from the vet

Hi all.

One of our beloved cats Cash was rushed back to the vet last night and ended up having emergency surgery for a urinary blockage.

This is the second time in just over a week that he’s been admitted and operated on.

His admittance last week cost us over $2700 $436 for the previous after hours consultation which we applied for vetpay for (but we’re only approved for $2250) with the rest having to be out on afterpay.

The vets are talking at least the same length stay this time as last, maybe longer as they try additional meds to help him so we’re going to be up for at least another $2700 maybe more.

Neither of us as parents are eligible yet to withdraw from our super and have no savings available or additional credit and are becoming increasingly worried about how we’re going to afford this while still caring for our young children whom love Cash very much.
