Help Cash Recover After Emergency Treatment

Donation protected
We're asking for help so we can continue Cash's treatment and keep our family afloat after two devastating emergency vet crises in the same week.

Last week, our beloved cat Pippin was rushed to the emergency vet with a complete urinary blockage. We spent our savings, borrowed money, and used a payment plan to get him the treatment he needed. We were hopeful when he came home, but he suffered another blockage almost immediately after his catheter was removed. His condition deteriorated rapidly, and we had to make the heartbreaking decision to let him go. Between emergency treatment and cremation costs, we spent everything we had trying to save him.

Then, within an hour of returning home after saying goodbye to Pippin, our other cat Cash began showing the exact same symptoms. After another emergency trip to the vet, Cash was diagnosed with a complete urinary blockage as well. He currently has a catheter in place and is stable, but he still needs ongoing treatment, follow-up care, medications, prescription food, and close monitoring to give him the best chance of recovery.

I found Cash a year ago miles down a dirt road in Arkansas, hence his name. He was a tiny kitten and we weren't sure if he was going to make it, but with a lot of love, he's grown into a happy and irreplaceable member of our family. He's absolutely inseparable from our dog Harlow and brings joy to our home every day.

We have exhausted our savings and borrowed everything we reasonably can. I work as a truck driver and spend most of my week away from home trying to support my family. My girlfriend is unable to work due to health issues, and we were already living on a very tight budget before these emergencies happened. Right now we're struggling to figure out how to cover Cash's continued care while also paying for necessities like utilities, groceries, and our own medications.

Our goal is to raise enough to replace the money we spent on Pippin's emergency care and cremation so that we can put those funds toward Cash's ongoing treatment, prescription food, follow-up care, and other essential expenses.

Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping us give Cash a chance. We're not giving up, we'll get through this one day at a time.
