Hi there, my name is Cash — I’m a 14-year-old pup with a big heart, a goofy grin, and a lot more love to give.
I’ve been with my human, Rachel, for 13 amazing years. We’ve had quite the journey together — traveling across the U.S. and Canada, making memories, swimming in lakes, playing with my dog friends, and spending time with family. I even helped her through grad school (I’m basically a therapy dog with no credentials) and stayed by her side through some really tough times.
But now… I need her — and maybe you — to help me.
The vets think I have something called anal gland carcinoma (that’s a scary word for cancer), and I need a big surgery to take the tumor out. The total cost is $9,000+, and it’s coming up really soon. On the day of the surgery, they’ll first do some imaging to see if the cancer has spread. If it hasn’t, they’ll go ahead and remove the tumor right then and there.
Rachel’s doing everything she can for me, but this is a lot for one human to handle alone. That’s why I’m wagging my tail and asking for a little help.
What Your Donation Will Help With:
• Imaging to check for cancer spread
• Tumor removal surgery
• My medications and aftercare
• Follow-up visits to make sure I’m healing okay
I still love swimming, sniffing everything, and sneaking snacks (don’t tell Mom). I might be getting older, but I’m not done yet. If there’s a chance I can stay by my human’s side a little longer — happy and with a good quality of life — I want to take it.
Even if you can’t donate, just sharing my story would help me more than you know.
Thanks for reading, thanks for caring, and thanks for helping me fight.
With love and tail wags,
Cash
