Hi, my name is Chloe Powell, and I never imagined I’d be writing something like this.
A few days ago, I found a lump on my dog Cash’s leg. My heart dropped. After a vet visit and some tests, my worst fear was confirmed—it’s a tumor. The only hope for giving him more time and a good quality of life is surgery, followed by radiation. Without it, the cancer will spread. But with it, he has a real chance to keep living the joyful, love-filled life he deserves.
If you know Cash, you know he still has so much life left in him.
Cash isn’t just a pet, he’s my heart. He’s been with me through everything since I was 16. He’s my best friend, my emotional support, my constant companion. The one who always knows when I need a cuddle, a kiss, or just someone to sit quietly beside me. Through heartbreaks, hard days, and moments when I thought I couldn’t keep going, Cash has been there. Always.
The thought of losing him this soon is absolutely devastating. He is still full of so much life. His tail still wags when I walk through the door, and his eyes still light up at the sound of a leash.
I can’t imagine life without him. I’m not ready to let go. If you ever loved an animal like a child, you know what this feels like.
The cost of his surgery and follow-up care is around $7,000. Something far beyond what I can manage on my own. It’s humbling and scary to ask for help like this, but I’m doing everything I can to fight for him. I just need a little help.
Whether it’s a donation, sharing this message, or simply sending love and prayers—every bit makes a difference. Every kind gesture brings us one step closer to giving Cash the chance he deserves. All funds will go directly toward his surgery, treatment, and recovery.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Thank you for caring. And thank you for giving me hope when I need it most.
With all my love,
Chloe & Cash
