Casey is a 33 year old young man who was recently diagnosed with a glioblastoma. Which is unfortunately an aggressive and terminal form of cancer. It’s also VERY unpredictable. We have been told it could be less than two years or could be upwards of 10 years. As it’s so aggressive so are the treatments. Because he is unable to currently work or won’t always be able to, which then affects health insurance and receiving treatments. The funding will be used to help cover these costly treatments for the first year. As well as basic cost of living so him and his wife Christine can continue to live independently.

 

Optune Cap treatments (electro therapy) will cost up to 20k a month. Which he has to wear for a minimum of 18 hours a day.

 

MRIs every 2 months costs about $1,800.

 

In his free time Casey enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog Buddy who they rescued about 1 year ago. He also REALLY enjoys video games. He as always been the comic relief in a room and enjoys making people smile and laugh. He loves to go above and beyond to help people he knows whether it’s a friend, co-worker or family. It’s time to give back to him.
