On December 2nd, 2025, at 12:32 am, we lost our mother. My sister Casey and I stayed by her side to the very end.

Casey has spent the last few years devoting all her time and working hard to care for our mother while she suffered from COPD and congestive heart failure. Casey lived with her towards the end of her life before her hospitalization and provided around-the-clock care. Because of this, Casey was not able to get a paying job.

And now, she is faced with the reality that she has no income or way to pay for rent, all while grieving the loss of her person. I'm hoping to raise enough funds to help her get by for a month or two and to help with cremation expenses while she processes this devastating loss and focuses on loving her 1-year-old daughter and to give her some time to search for employment.
