On September 23, 2024 I was diagnosed with cancer for the 3rd time. I was diagnosed with Renal Clear Cell Carcinoma, a rare kidney cancer.

My Oncologist walked in my room and his words were “Mr. Rivers ima be honest with you, this cancer is rare and we don’t have a cure, so you should get your affairs in order.” The room went silent, we both just stared at each other. In my mind, all I keep saying is im only 32 this cant be true. I asked him how long, and he replied 2-5 years. Can you imaging having someone telling you, you’ll miss your kids graduation, you’ll be miss anniversaries, and so much other stuff?

But I do know God is still working miracles, I do believe this diagnoses is not the end, but the beginning of something greater.

I’m currently doing Chemo(Lenvima) and traveling back and forth to various doctor appointments. I’m seeking your financial help so I can continue to fight this disease.
