Casey, my beloved black lab, has always been the heart of our home. She’s the kind of dog who greets everyone with a wagging tail and a gentle nudge, brightening even the toughest days. Recently, Casey developed kennel cough, and despite our best efforts, her condition quickly worsened into severe pneumonia. For the past few days, she hasn’t had an appetite, and her energy has faded. After rushing her to the vet, we received the devastating news that Casey is in critical condition. The medication we purchased is her best hope right now, but if it doesn’t work, we’re facing the possibility of hospitalization or even having to say goodbye far too soon.
