Help Casey Rebuild After Homelessness

My name is Casey, and for just over two years, I have been homeless. Every day has been a struggle, but I am doing my best to move forward. I am currently in counseling, working hard to manage my depression and extreme anxiety. My journey took a turn for the worse when I lost my vehicle after a flat tire. I didn’t have the money to fix it right away, and it was towed in less than 12 hours. I couldn’t afford to get it out of the tow yard or fix the tire, and the fees kept increasing. After 30 days, my vehicle was salvaged. That car was not only my transportation, but also my temporary home.

On top of losing my vehicle, I am dealing with health issues like diabetes and sleep apnea, which make daily life even more challenging. Despite these obstacles, I am committed to improving my mental health and rebuilding my life. My goal is to get a reliable vehicle, continue my counseling, and find affordable housing. Any financial help would go a long way toward helping me get back on my feet, regain my mental health, and avoid repeating the same mistakes that led me here.

It’s very difficult for me to write about my struggles and ask for help, but my mental health isn’t improving with all the stress I’m under. Any support would be absolutely life-changing for me. I look forward to becoming a contributing member of society again and hope to help others when I get there. I know there are people worse off than me, but I do need help. Please, if you can, consider supporting my journey to stability and hope.
