Help Casey Get Back in the Studio

Hey! My name is Casey Cash Heckman and I'm a singer-songwriter out of Lubbock, Texas, and am a full-time musician. I'm raising funds to finish recording and promoting my original music - and I need y'all's help to make it happen!

Most people know me for playing all over the Lubbock area and being a human jukebox, covering a wide variety of songs from many different genres of music... but here lately I've really had an itch to start focusing on my original music. I don't ever plan to stop playing the covers y'all love, but I want to start recording my songs and pushing them out into the world for whoever wants to listen.

This year on Valentine's Day, I put out my first release ever, Drinkin' Again, and was amazed at all the love it received. Like any other musician knows, I was riding the high and was eager to get back into the studio to record a few more songs! I booked another date, got some scratch tracks laid down, and we even got a jump on the drums and bass tracks!

Things were going smooth... then life did what life does best and sucker-punched me right in the wallet with big-time car troubles. Long story short, after many trips to the mechanic and several hours spent zip-tying and duct-taping my car together, I just couldn't afford it any longer.

I ended up pulling the trigger on a much newer, much more reliable vehicle that I can count on to run me to all of my shows. Whilst me and the family are getting around safely and not constantly worrying about our cars falling apart, money is tighter than ever before. That's when I had an idea... I'm going to start an OnlyFans account.

Just kidding, no one wants to see that.

BUT, I thought I COULD start a GoFundMe campaign with some added perks for all you fine folks who decide to help me raise the money for this project!

Unfortunately, the music industry is about more than just talent alone and it takes A LOT of time, energy, money, and passion to get one's music out there.

That's why I plan on not only finishing the songs I've started to record in the studio, but also use the money you donate to generate new graphic designs for merch, print merchandise locally to sell at my shows (high quality merch like t-shirts, hats, stickers, and koozies) as well as creating high-quality videos made for promoting my music on all of my social media platforms! Here's a bit of a rough breakdown of where the money will go:
