Title:
“Support a Dedicated Medical Assistant and Phlebotomy Student Starting Over”
Story/Description:
Hi, my name is Casey and I’m reaching out during one of the most challenging times in my life. I recently lost my job as a Certified Medical Assistant after two years of dedicated service. It was a job I truly loved—helping patients, supporting healthcare teams, and growing in my field. Unfortunately, I was let go for reasons beyond my control, and I now find myself in a very tough spot financially and emotionally.
On top of this, I’ve been investing my time and energy into becoming a certified phlebotomist. I’m currently a student working hard to complete my training and take the next big step in my medical career. But right now, with no income, I’m struggling to cover basic needs like rent, transportation, food, and the remaining costs of my education.
I am a mother of two handsome boys one on the way to college and one still in middle school.
I’m not one to ask for help, but I know I can’t do this alone. Your support—no matter how big or small—will go directly toward:
• Essential living expenses (rent, bills, food)
• School-related costs (books, supplies, transportation)
• Certification and testing fees for phlebotomy
I’m determined to get back on my feet, finish my program, and return to the work I love—helping others. If you can contribute or even just share my story, I would be deeply grateful.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for supporting me on this journey.
With gratitude,
Casey
