Help Casey and Leah Rebuild After Fire

Hello,

my name is Lauryn Bryant and I am starting this go fund me for two close friends of mine. The night of June 30th, 2025 we were experiencing a heavy storm followed intense lightning and thunder. A very unfortunate act of nature happened to cause lightning to strike my friend’s window AC unit, causing it to burst into flames.

The front of their trailer engulfed in flames as near by neighbors tried to extinguish it before the fire department arrived.

Casey (being the sole income provider in the household and owner of the trailer) was working overnight at her job at the time of this incident, while her younger sister Leah (Fred) was almost asleep in the home.

Leah managed to escape the home but we’re saddened to say their beloved Cat Mikey did parish in the fire.

Their kitchen and living room are what took most of the fire damage, while the remaining of the home is badly smoke damaged.

We’re asking for any and all donations to hopefully help them rebuild their home or relocate.
