We are raising funds to help a child named Cas, who was tragically left without his mother after a heartbreaking murder-suicide involving Megan and Ghotti Bates.

Before Megan passed, she made her wishes clear. While she was on her deathbed, she signed guardianship over to the Cardona family and asked Yoli to please raise her son. Now we are trying to honor that promise—but we have to do it legally.  

As powerful and loving as this situation is, the reality is that the court process is expensive, and without a strong family law attorney, Cas could be taken away from the only family he has ever truly known. This is not just about guardianship. Legal custody and adoption must come next, and we need help covering attorney fees and court costs so Cas can stay in a safe, stable home—surrounded by people who love him, including his baby brother who is ready to welcome him with open arms.
