Support My Journey to Pain Relief and Creativity
Hi, I’m Cas Diaz, a model, college student, and artist navigating life with chronic pain and a rare connective tissue disorder called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS). Every day, I battle debilitating conditions like sciatica, occipital neuralgia, and the challenges that come with EDS. These conditions cause excruciating nerve and joint pain, migraines, and mobility issues that make even the simplest tasks feel impossible some days.
I’ve spent years trying to find relief—physical therapy, medications, nerve blocks, acupuncture—you name it, I’ve tried it. But the only treatment that has truly helped reduce my pain is ketamine infusions. Unfortunately, ketamine is not covered by insurance, and each infusion costs hundreds of dollars. These treatments are my lifeline, helping me feel well enough to keep doing the things I love—like modeling—and pursuing my college education.
Modeling has always been more than a job to me; it’s my creative outlet and a way to express myself when words can’t capture what I feel. But chronic pain threatens my ability to create, move, and thrive. I’m also working to save for a wheelchair that will give me the freedom to attend classes, go to photoshoots, and live my life with dignity on the days walking feels impossible.
As a full-time college student, the financial burden of treatments and medical equipment is overwhelming. That’s why I’m asking for your help. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings me closer to managing my pain and reclaiming my life. Your support will allow me to:
• Access regular ketamine infusions to manage chronic pain.
• Purchase a wheelchair to improve my mobility and independence.
• Continue modeling, my greatest passion and creative outlet.
• Balance work, school, and health so I can afford my education.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Whether you can donate, share my campaign, or simply send words of encouragement, your kindness means everything to me. Together, we can make this journey a little lighter.
With gratitude,
Cas Diaz
