On October 26, 2016, my mother, Caridad Rodriguez was diagnosed with Acute Leukemia. Since October, she's undergone several chemo cycles, developed blood clots, and undergone procedures in effort to reach remission while saving her leg. Unfortunately, we were just informed her Leukemia has become resistant to the chemo. There is one treatment left to try but it will be used in an unconventional way. We are up against the clock.
