My name is Carter Hall. I stopped drinking on 12/26/24 and I’m reaching out because I recently had my third knee replacement surgery. For those who know me, the first surgery was a limb salvage knee replacement due to Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) This recovery entails months of physical therapy which means means I’ll be out of work for at least three to four months, and during this time, my medical bills and rent for sober living (Transitional Living in long Beach) are piling up faster than I can manage. I’ve worked incredibly hard to maintain my sobriety for the past 11 months, and living in a sober environment has been the foundation of my progress.
Being unable to work right now has put me in a difficult position. I’m worried about losing the stability I’ve fought so hard to achieve in my in my living situation. Every day, I focus on healing and staying strong, but the financial stress is overwhelming.
Your support would help me stay in a safe, sober environment and cover the medical bills that are weighing me down. Any donation or even sharing my story would mean the world to me as I work toward a full recovery and continue my journey of sobriety. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any help you can offer.
