Hello everyone,

This past weekend, many of you were at the Rock Island Indoor BMX State Qualifier and Gold Cup. It was an incredible event filled with amazing riders and unforgettable moments.

On Sunday, during the second intermission, Carter was testing a new jump section when he had a serious crash. Unfortunately, the bike failed at the head tube junction, where the head tube meets the down tube.

As a result of the crash, Carter suffered a concussion, required stitches to his upper lip due to his teeth puncturing his lip (thankfully, no teeth were broken). He may also have a broken finger or possible metacarpal fracture and has an orthopedic follow-up scheduled for Wednesday.

Despite everything, when the doctor asked Carter if he still planned on riding, he barely had time to finish the question before Carter confidently answered, “yes!”
