This Christmas season, as we gather with loved ones and reflect on all we’re grateful for, let’s take a moment to remember a little boy and mother who desperately need our help. Carter is only 5 years old. Earlier this year, at just 4 years old, he was diagnosed with leukemia. Since then, his life has been filled with hospital visits and chemotherapy, which he now undergoes four times a week. To continue receiving the care he needs, Carter and his mom, Taylor, must stay close to the hospital in Sacramento.
