Carson has been a member of our family for 4 years. On April 3rd 2026, Carson’s rear end was run over by a car in our parking lot. I witnessed this happen and I’ll never be able to forget the sinking feeling in my gut and the panic that tightened every muscle as I ran to him. This accident resulted in fractures to his hips and he now needs assistance to walk. My wife and I don’t have kids yet so Carson fills that role, seeing him in pain has been absolutely the hardest thing for us to see. We have to do everything we can to provide him the best chances at recovery. However, having just recently moved to our new home and settling in, we’re at the end of our means and still have more to do to improve his chances.
Carson now faces a long road to recovery, but his immediate needs are x-rays, medication, and physical therapy to regain his strength and mobility. If we are able to raise enough, surgery may also be a possibility to give him the best chance at a full recovery. We want to do everything possible to help Carson heal and return to his happy, playful self.
We are incredibly grateful for every bit of kindness, support, and help shown to us during this difficult time.
