Carson is a fighter! Almost 3 months ago Carson started experiencing daily headaches. He was taken to his local pediatrician where a CT was done and they were told his results were normal and to alternate Motrin and Tylenol to help with the pain. On the October 26th, he was taken to the ER due to his headaches becoming more severe. There, they completed a lumbar puncture and were again told his results were normal. His pediatrician did a neurology referral to a Neurologist in Gainesville which took place on January 10th. Once there, the Neurologist noticed he had Abducens Palsy in his right eye and sent him to the ER to be admitted for further imaging of his brain. Once there they did another CT scan and his doctor said he saw something "sluggish" on his brain in the Cavernous Sinus. Since then he's had an MRI on January 12th, a Lumbar Puncture on the 13th, and a Brain Biopsy on the 14th. He has a team of doctors working around the clock to help find answers and his mom, dad, sister, and Mimi have been by his side since. Please help anyway you can to eliminate the burden of these medical cost, extended hotel stays, and food. Help Carson fight!
