Hello, my name is Kimberly, and I am raising money to help my niece and her husband (Camryn & Courtney Samples) with all the financial burdens they are facing as their rainbow baby, Carson, fights Leukemia. Carson was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on June 20, 2023, at the age of 6 months old. Unfortunately, his tests came back showing he is in the higher risk category meaning the type he has is more challenging to treat. He will be in the hospital for the next seven months without being able to leave. His treatment plan will have lots of side effects so he will have to be closely monitored during these next seven months. Then the treatment plan will allow him to go between home and the hospital for a little over two years. The Ronald McDonald house has a very long waiting list, so they are not able to obtain housing there for a while. They live two hours from the hospital so there will be several expenses involved for the next few years. As you can imagine they are devastated with having to watch their baby fight this horrible disease. When something like this happens, the regular bills do not stop, and tons of other bills really start to add up. Thankfully, Courtney is a stay-at-home mom so she will be able to stay in Ohio with Carson. However, Camryn will have to go back to work so he will have to be two hours away in Kentucky.
