My name is Annetta. I am writing my story in concern for my grandson, who was burned by gasoline on December 5, which was his 14th birthday. He has been at VCU on the burn unit for pediatric children since December 5. I reach out to anyone who can offer any kind of assistance due to the fact that his mom, Amber, will be out of work and has stayed by his side the entire time. This will help with food, and she has three other sons that her husband travels four hours away to visit in between work and school for them. Prayers are our number one priority, but any help with medical expenses, fuel, food, and the upcoming holiday for all the boys would be greatly appreciated. My grandson's name, who is in the burn unit, is Carson. He may not be out by Christmas, and we would like to make that as special as we can under the current circumstances.
