Help Carson Friesen Through His Surgeries & Healing!

Hello, my name is Jaime, but to Carson, I’m MiMi. I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my nephew, Carson Friesen. He is only 16 years old and was recently involved in a horrific work accident that has completely changed his life.

Carson is being raised by my sister Mandy, who is doing everything she can to be by his side 24/7 to care for him through this tragedy. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was initially taken to a hospital in Bakersfield, where doctors had to perform an emergency surgery just to stabilize him enough to metaflight him to Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. He is currently in the PICU, where only immediate family is allowed, and they plan on him being there for quite some time with several additional surgeries in the near future. Because of his critical condition and the risk of infection, no flowers or food baskets are allowed at this time.

Carson suffered severe injuries to both of his feet, and as of right now, doctors are doing everything they can to save his left foot. The road ahead will be long and difficult, with multiple surgeries in the weeks to come, and extensive rehabilitation as he adjusts to these life-changing injuries.

This accident has impacted him physically, emotionally, and mentally, and it has placed an overwhelming financial burden on his Mom and the family. We are doing everything possible to support them, but we need help to cover his extensive medical expenses, hotel costs for his mom and family since he is out of town, upcoming surgeries, rehabilitation, and other costs during this incredibly difficult time.
