Hi, my name is Carrie. I am a mother of two children and a wife, working full-time as a certified nursing assistant at a hospital. A few years ago, my husband suffered a major heart attack. It was a terrifying time for our family, but by the grace of God, he pulled through. Every day, I am grateful to have him with us. While I do my best to care for my family and my patients, I also live with multiple sclerosis, which can make some days especially challenging. Despite the fatigue and pain, I keep going for my loved ones.
Our daughter has ADHD, and while we do our best to support her, we don’t receive any special assistance. Recently, our family has faced even more hardship—two of our loved ones needed surgery, and the medical bills and time away from work have caused our expenses to pile up. We are now at risk of losing our home, and with Christmas coming up, I worry about being able to provide a holiday for my children. I have never been one to ask for help, but I am reaching out now because we truly need a helping hand.
If you are able to support us, it would mean the world to our family. Your kindness will help us catch up on bills, keep our home, and give our children a Christmas to remember. Thank you for reading our story and for any support you can offer.
