Hi everyone! I am starting this fundraiser to help raise funds to launch me into the next stage of life, a life outside the four walls of a treatment center, and a life back in the city I’d always dreamed of living in, Nashville, TN.
I have been in intensive eating disorder and mental health treatment since March of 2023 and spent time in three different treatment centers in 3 states, in multiple levels of care. Since August 24, I have been at Eating Recovery Center in Dallas TX with an incredible team who has helped me actually work authentically in recovery for the first time ever, and now after 5 months, I’ll be discharging home to Nashville on January 31.
That being said, I need help covering costs of necessities to get back on my feet and stay OUT of higher levels of care, like groceries, meds, insurance costs, doctor, therapy, and dietician visits, travel to/from those appointments and emergency funds in case. I’m on a fixed income and unable to work due to my chronic/invisible illnesses which are a complicating part of my story.
