Hi, I'm Jessica Frink, and Carrie Brhel-Samson is my dear friend and many others. If you know Carrie, you love Carrie. Carrie's smile is contagious, and her heart is enormous.

I'm saddened to say that Carrie's cancer has returned. The tumor in her breast is a different mutation, known as Pik3, which requires aggressive chemotherapy, accompanied by the awful side effects of chemo. She has metastatic cancer in her lymph nodes, liver, and bones, along with breast cancer.

Carrie has had two procedures in the last two months for the mass in her breast and one in her jaw. Doctors also recently informed Carrie that she is in heart failure.

This news is devastating, heartbreaking, and beyond imagination for Carrie, her family, and her friends. Carrie is working as much as possible when not sick from chemo or the side effects of cancer. She's struggling to keep up with rent and medical bills.
