Hello! My name is Jill, and I’m starting this GoFundMe for my colleague and dear friend, Carrie Pino.

If you know Carrie, then you know she is one of the most positive, caring, and hardworking people out there. Recently, she generously stepped in to lead our Thailand 2.0 trip when I was unable to travel due to a medical issue. I was incredibly grateful she took this on so the trip could continue.

Near the end of her time in Thailand, Carrie came down with a severe flu-like virus. When she wasn’t improving, she went to the hospital, where she received IV fluids and testing and was eventually cleared to travel home. Unfortunately, during her extremely long journey back, she became even sicker. Once home, she was so unwell she had to go straight to urgent care—where she was diagnosed with pneumonia.

Carrie is now facing at least a couple more weeks before she can return to work. We all know that losing 3 weeks of unexpected lost income can be scary and stressful.

I know we all have financial pressures and responsibilities, but if you’re able to donate anything to help support Carrie during this difficult period—covering some of her lost income so she can focus on healing without the added stress of bills—it would mean the world.
