Our beautiful friend Carrie is facing one of the hardest battles of her life. She has been diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer, an aggressive form that requires months of chemotherapy, surgery, and radiation.

What started as one mass has now revealed abnormal lymph nodes and a second mass, making the road ahead even more challenging. Her treatment plan includes:

• 4–6 months of chemotherapy (now underway at Mayo Clinic)

• Double mastectomy six weeks after chemo

• 6 weeks of radiation

• About a 9-month process, with possible reconstruction surgery afterward

Despite this overwhelming diagnosis, Carrie continues to face each day with humor, grit, and faith. She even joked, “I finally have a senior in high school… and God’s like… it can’t be that simple… here’s some cancer to spice things up!”

Carrie isn’t just a patient — she’s a mom, a partner, a grandmother, and a friend who always shows up for everyone else.

• She and her partner Chayne are raising a beautiful family together.

• Her daughter Anna , and son Cloud (a high school senior) are her whole world.

• Her youngest, Jetty (3), keeps her smiling through even the hardest days.

• She is also a grandmother, adding another precious reason to fight.

This family has already faced heartbreak — several years ago, Carrie lost her beloved 14-year-old son Wyatt to suicide. Through that unimaginable pain, she has always been a pillar of strength and compassion for others.

Carrie is the kind of person who drops everything to help a friend, who cheers the loudest for everyone else, who makes people feel loved and supported no matter what. Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.

Why We’re Raising Funds

The bills are already stacking up. Out-of-pocket medical costs are expected to be at least $15,000, not including the impact of missed work during chemo, surgery, and radiation. Donations will help cover:

• Medical bills not fully covered by insurance

• Household expenses and childcare support

• Time off work for both Carrie and Chayne during recovery

• Extra hands needed during surgery and radiation
