Please help in supporting Carrie Weston and her three children, Blake (19), Alyza (16), and Dekotah (7) through the tragedy that has struck their family. On the 3rd of March 2026, Carrie suffered a brain aneurysm, brain bleed, and a Stroke, and was rushed to peace health by EMS. She was immediately air lifted out of Bellingham, and rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle WA. She spent almost three weeks undergoing numerous tests (CT scans, Angiograms, Ultrasounds etc.) and inevitably, an invasive and life-changing open brain surgery.
Around two weeks after her surgery, she was discharged and allowed to return home for her daughter’s 16th birthday. However, in the days to follow, she was rushed back down to Harborview after experiencing head pains/a splitting headache, and has been back and forth from the hospital ever since, struggling with headaches, memory loss and all-around disorientation. Upon returning to Harborview for her post surgery check in, three additional aneurysms were found in her CT scan and will have to be operated on. With her mind playing cyclical tricks on her, the struggle to heal has increased the stress she is feeling everyday as a single mother. Carrie and her children have been struggling to keep their heads above water with not only the constant stress of their mother’s health, but also the crushing medical bills that will inevitably face them. Carrie is going to be needing continued medical care, as well as mental and physical therapies to get her back to where she was before. With Carrie being unable to work currently, and her son Blake being the only source of income in the household, they need the help and love of a community more than ever.
Carrie is one of the greatest lights in our very large and loud family. She is a fiercely loyal and loving woman, mother, daughter and friend, who has always fought hard for what and who she loves. To know Carrie is to know a bright unstoppable force with the world on her shoulders. Her children are the most exceptional, surefooted, strong individuals you will ever meet, who all feel greatly, and wear their hearts like armor. To be loved by any one of them is to be loved loudly.
Please take the time, and Donate to this wonderful family anything that you can. Every cent makes a difference!
Thank you!
