My name is Carrie. I have 3 children living with me, and I'm in dire need of help. About 5 months ago, I was laid off from the job I held for over a decade. I was given a severance at that time, and it has carried me through until now, but it has run out. I have been intensely looking for my next opportunity, but nothing has panned out so far. November is coming and I do not have rent. I'm also behind on my electricity and phone bills. My electricity will be shut off on Nov 7 if I'm unable to pay them, and my children and I will be evicted if I'm unable to pay my rent.

I'm still looking every day for another job and surely something will pan out soon. If nothing else, one of the retail stores I've applied for will be hiring for seasonal help and hopefully they will give me a call. But for now, I truly need help.
