Help Carrie and Her Family Stay Strong

Hello all, I am Carrie's dad Wade. This gofundme is dedicated to our beautiful loving Carrie and family to bridge the gap between Carries last and next paycheck. As we all know. household expenses don't stop and money needed to keep the family above water is our goal. I think it is very important that Carrie's stress is minimized throughout treatment because a strong state of mind will help her body fight this battle.

If you know Carrie or Chris you know they would never ask for help. But there are three beautiful kids, a beautiful Mother and Father, we need to help out.

Until biopsy results are in, the hospital length of stay is not know. Estimate range from one to two weeks to two months. This is not a situation that allows much planning so if we fund for the longest case, we can really help this house stay strong.

As a reminder A few weeks ago, Carrie noticed a mass forming at the base of her neck. After keeping an eye on it and seeing it wasn't going away, but in fact growing and starting to affect her ability to swallow, she went to the doctor and got imaging done. They identified a mass next to her thyroid but weren't sure the extent of it, or what it was. After additional screening, they found a 15cm (6in) long mass next to her heart affecting other lymph nodes in the area and neck. The mass was determined to be Lymphoma. Its putting pressure on a major artery of her heart and she is still in the hospital waiting for biopsy results, receiving care to make sure she is ready for treatment whenever that begins.
