Help Carrie and Family During Surgery Recovery

For those of you who know Carrie, you already know that she's an amazingly compassionate, kind, and generous human being to friends and strangers alike. She is also a wonderful momma to twins Freyja and Zephyr and the partner of their super dedicated father Vincent. She is a pillar for her family and her community.

Recently, Carrie went in for an emergency open appendix surgery that had some minor complication afterward. This happened a couple of weeks after a car accident that she was in with another driver who ran a red light. Luckily, injury from the car accident was minor, and she is finally home from the hospital recovering from the appendix surgery.

Her surgery recovery time is expected to be about 6 weeks; during this time Vincent will be at home to care-take her and the kids (stellar job Vince!). This leaves them without an active income for the time being, so I thought we could give them some community support to help out financially. This would be to help cover their regular bills and expenses as well as any medical costs not covered by insurance. While $4,444 does not cover their usual income for a 6-week period, this amount would give them a helpful cushion and more ease during this time. I say, let's see what we can do!

Of course, in-person support with meals, fun with the kids, and any other inspiration you might have is awesome as well. Here's to community wellness!
