Help Carrie achieve her dream!

Our amazing friend Carrie Johnson has spent her whole life raising kids — not only her three children, but also so many of ours. She has been the extra set of arms, the comforting hug, and the wise voice that so many families in our community have relied on. Now, it’s her turn to be supported.

Carrie is finishing her teacher’s certificate and degree through Western Governors University, working tirelessly to achieve her lifelong dream of becoming a certified teacher. She’s just steps away, but the last part of the journey comes with big challenges.

To complete her program, Carrie must:

*Pay for her state exams

*Take 4 months off work for the unpaid student-teaching portion of her program

This is where we come in. Carrie has given so much to others — now we have the chance to give back and help her finally achieve her dream. With our support, she will be able to cover these costs, focus on her training, and step confidently into the classroom where she belongs.
