Help Carpenter Family with Funeral and Medical Bills

My name is Cassie Hammond and I’m creating this go fund me for my dear friend and her family. On October 23 2024, Dennie Carpenter was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Melonoma. It spread to his lungs and his brain along with other parts of his body. He went through numerous surgeries, immunotherapy, radiation and 2 types of Chemotherapy before going into hospice. He fought very hard to overcome this disease. He was so strong and lived longer than any doctor predicted. Late on Sunday night May 18th 2025 he lost his courageous battle. His wife Mary along with her 2 daughters Crystal and Elizabeth are now needing help with funeral expenses and medical bills.

Dennie served in the US Army for a year as a tank commander, he spent a year in Germany during the cold war when they took down the wall. His rank was a staff Sargent. He was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, & friend and will be deeply missed by those he has left behind.

His daughter Crystal is a dear friend of mine and there aren’t enough words to express the kind, compassionate, & caring woman she is. Her along with her sister and her mother are very hard working people and would gladly give the shirts off of their backs to help you! I’m hoping that as a community we can come together to help them and to show them that their kindness doesn’t go unnoticed.
