Hello, my name is Carolyne Cozart. I’m 13 years old from the East Bay California. I’m in my last year of Middle School and really want to play for a volleyball club team. My parents were recently separated and my mom and i have been struggling a lot with finances. I’ve been very passionate about playing volleyball, I love it a lot. I’m currently playing for a fall ball with Vibe and was moved up to 14s team which is advance for my age. I’m one of the players who were considered by our coach that has potential to be part of the team who will compete this coming season. It will be my first time to join a club team but the price is too expensive and we cannot afford it. I have been trying to work and find ways to raise money to be able to join the team. The price this year is $4000 which covers for tournament fees, gym rentals, and coach payments. This does not cover the uniform, travel expenses, accommodation etc. which I will also need to figure out later how to support those expenses. I have been going to practice for the past 2-3 months and have also helped coach and other smaller teams outside of my actual practice time to assist the younger groups. I take a lot of time out of my day to practice and ensure to focus during lessons to gain more skills. Volleyball is a big part of my life which I’m very passionate and very committed. I am pleading to all of you, to please help me raise the funds I need to be able to join the club team, it will be a dream come to me. Thank you so much in advance for your help.
