Hi! My name is Carolyn Steiner, and I've been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that's not related to smoking. It's a glandular type, and I'm staying positive. I was doing great with my new job and got a new car for better gas mileage. But then, I had trouble breathing and could barely walk to my car at work. After two weeks, I visited a walk-in clinic, and they quickly got me admitted to the ER. From there, I was transported to a hospital an hour and 10 minutes away. I'm dealing with a pleural effusion on my right side, clots in my right jugular and arm, and the cancer diagnosis. This diagnosis means I cannot work, which is a challenge for me. My kids are my life, and I'd like to stick around for a while.

I'm trading pride for hope as I ask for help with my mounting hospital bills after insurance, creditors, etc., and I'm grateful for any assistance, whether it's financial or sharing my story to spread the word, as I work towards recovery and financial stability. Thank you!
