In Loving Memory of Carolyn "Reds" Long

We are deeply saddened to share that our dear friend, Carolyn Melissa Long (affectionately known as "Reds" particularly for her Wonder Woman tattoo), tragically passed away in a hit-and-run accident. Carolyn was only 49 years old, leaving behind her devoted fiancé and children, as well as countless friends and family members who loved her dearly.

Reds was an avid and passionate pool player, known for her vibrant personality and dedication to the game. She was an active participant in local pool leagues throughout Ocean City, MD, and spent countless hours at pool halls, where her competitive spirit and infectious laugh left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Her signature Wonder Woman tattoo was a symbol of her strength, her courage, and her incredible heart—qualities that defined her both on and off the pool table.

As her family navigates this unimaginable loss, they are facing not only the emotional pain of losing a beloved fiancé and mother, but also the financial burden that comes with it. Carolyn's fiancé was in the process of building their dream home—a place where she and the children were meant to create lasting memories. Tragically, that dream has been cut short, and now her family is also making an attempt to finish the house in her memory as "it's what she would have wanted".

This GoFundMe is being created to help cover the expenses for Carolyn's funeral, outstanding bills, and any other immediate needs to help her fiancé and children during this difficult time as they move forward without their mother by their side.
