Help support a fur family of 17 rescued cats! A single retired senior, Carolyn, is the sole caretaker for a household of seventeen cats, many of whom are seniors with medical needs. Carolyn is looking for part-time work to support her cat family, but right now her social security income is not enough to feed her cats and herself. Any donation will help Carolyn take care of her fur family!
If you prefer, you can send Carolyn a Chewy gift card to: goodecarolyn2 at gmail Read below to meet each cat:
Min-min: Ragdoll cat whose humans were evicted from their apartment before she was taken in.
Tyson: Previous owners lived in a small apartment and gave Tyson and Aero up when their small baby began to crawl and grab the cats.
Aero: From the same household as Tyson. Has poor vision due to an eye infection from when he was a kitten.
Trixie: Her mother was an older lady who fell and broke her hip and then had to live in a nursing home. The owner’s daughter is allergic to cats so she couldn’t take her. Trixie was going to be euthanised until Carolyn took her in.
Perdita: Likes to pretend that she is allergic to other cats
Hermes: Orange cat, diabetic
Nacho: Taken in as a kitten with siblings Cheddar, Koko and Zeus with their mother, who previously lived 20 feet from State highway Route 15.
Cheddar: Taken in as a kitten with siblings Nacho and Koko.
Koko: Snowshoe Siamese who was abandoned at about two months old.
Zeus: Left as a kitten with Koko, Cheddar, and Nacho.
Obie: He and his brother were outdoor cats to a woman in the area. Her husband had dementia, making it difficult to house the cats indoors. Obie’s brother was tragically run over.
Angus: Half of his right ear is burned off due to an accident with a car engine.
Chong: Adopted after the previous owner, who lived in a motel, passed away and no one would take him or his siblings.
Gretchen: From the same household as Chong, their previous owner passed away in a motel. Their other two siblings have passed away.
Callie: 17 years old. Taken in from a woman who was burnt out from running a business and caring for her husband with cancer. Callie’s brother passed last year.
Rose: 17 years old. Her previous family had her declawed but not spayed. She was kept outside because she peed on things until she was taken in by Carolyn.
Pepper : Dwarf cat who was taken in after a friend passed from cancer.
