Help Our Mom Fight Breast Cancer

Our mom, Carolyn Ervin Gossett, has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. For those who know her, you know she is love in human form—hard-working, gentle-hearted, giving, and endlessly devoted to others.
Carolyn is a cherished mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Even at 76 years young, she still shows up every day to serve her community with pride through her work at the Nettleton School District. If your child or grandchild has ever enjoyed a warm school-cooked meal, there’s a good chance her hands helped make it. She has devoted her life to caring for others… now it’s our turn to care for her.
On November 14, 2025, she will undergo a double mastectomy—a life-changing and overwhelming battle that no one should ever face alone.
While she prepares to fight for her life, our biggest prayer is that she doesn’t have to fight financially, too.
My mom would never, ever ask for help. She is the helper, the giver, the encourager—the one who quietly shows up for everyone else. She has carried others through their storms, and now she is walking into one of her own.
So I’m asking on her behalf…
If you could give up a coffee, a lunch, or even a soda today…
and send that love toward easing her burdens instead—
you would be lifting a weight she’d never ask you to lift.
Your kindness will help ensure she doesn’t have to worry about:
• Rent
• Utilities
• Medical costs
• Or everyday bills
…while healing and fighting for her life.
No amount is too small. Every prayer, share, dollar, and ounce of support matters. It all adds up, and it all means more than you know.
She’s spent a lifetime caring for others.
Now it’s our chance to care for her.

Thank you for holding our family in your hearts, and for any support you can give—financially, prayerfully, or by sharing this page.
With grateful hearts,
Her family who loves her so deeply
