Help Carolyn Cover Bills During Healing

Hello, most of you know me, but if not, my name is Carolyn. I broke my foot on 11/2/24 and I’m most likely going to be out of commission until 1/12/25. I work at Starbucks, which requires me to be on my feet a lot, so I can’t go back to work until I’m fully healed.

I was approved for medical leave and short-term disability through Starbucks, but in order to receive any kind of payment, I have to wait for California EDD (Employment Development Department) to approve my short-term disability (SDI), which could take a while. I’ve exhausted my sick time and vacation time already. I hate doing this, but any kind of help until those SDI payments are hopefully approved would be really appreciated.

I have rent, bills, food, and medical bills that are going towards my recovery. Even if it’s just $5, that will be appreciated. When the SDI payments go through, I will end this GoFundMe because I won’t need it until those payments go through. Thank you.
