Hi all. My name is Carolyn Anderson and I live in Massachusetts.

I'm sharing this again as now that it is August, I will be getting only 1 paycheck for 4 half-days of work during summer school, and it won't be nearly enough to get me through the month.

I'm hoping a few people can help me with donations as I still need, at an absolute minimum, $650 to get me through till my first full paycheck the 2nd week of September.

Just a quick little note that my picture is several years old and I don't even resemble it anymore. I really do look over 70, which I am.

I work at a local high school as a paraprofessional and even though I am working summer school, it is less than half my usual pay and there are 5 weeks of summer with no pay at all. And then the first paycheck of the new school year isn't until mid-September. Yikes!

In spite of applying all over the place for part-time work during the summer, I've not had any luck. I've been calling and showing up at several places and I think they take one look at my 70+ year-old self and don't respond.

I'm very sad that I have to resort to GoFundMe for help, but my pay is not enough for me to save anything. I am barely scraping by on a good month.
