Help Carolyn and Her Cats Escape Hurricane Milton

We made it and it was hard. Now we are dealing with no power and no way to cool our place as heat returns to Tampa. If you can't help I understand but trying to get a little more help for a small gas powered generator. Thanx and God bless ♡♡♡

Hi, my name is Carolyn. I have lived in Tampa, FL all my life, and I bought my mobile home about 6 years ago. There was a major cat problem where I moved to. I took it upon myself to start feeding the hungry and fixing the ones who were not already. I also took some to the vet as needed. I was working then, no problem. Now I have medical problems and recently started a part-time job but have been out of work for almost 2 years. I get a low SS check for early retirement also. Hurricane Helene left us without power for 16 1/2 hours, and I lost most of my electronics, including the AC, when the power surged. I slowly started getting things back, and it took most of my first very small check to do so. Now we have Milton, and it's going to be a catastrophic storm. All of Tampa could be wiped out. I can't stay here, and I cannot leave these babies I've been caring for for 6 years or more. I also have my own little dogs, a couple of birds, and a guinea pig. My son is getting me a U-Haul van I am picking up in the morning, and I am putting what I have left toward it. I desperately need money for food and gas. I am asking anyone and everyone to please help, even if it's in a small way. I am bringing 35 cats with me in the van and possibly have a place to go, but still need money for gas for the van and food for me and the babies.
