Hi, my name is Carol, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit to ask for your help.
Our beloved puppy, Callie, was recently diagnosed with bilateral patellar luxation, a painful condition that affects both of her knees. Once full of boundless energy and joy, she now struggles to walk without pain. The simple joys she once lived for—chasing her toys, running with the kids, curling up at our feet—have become difficult, and sometimes impossible.
Every step she takes now is a reminder of the pain she’s in. It breaks our hearts to see her try to play like she used to, only to be stopped by discomfort and fear. She looks at us with those trusting eyes, still filled with love, and we know she’s fighting to be strong for us.
There is hope: with surgery and proper treatment, Callie can walk, run, and play again—pain-free. The procedure has a high success rate, especially in young dogs, and it’s the best chance we have at giving her a normal, happy life. But the cost is more than we can manage on our own.
The veterinary estimate for her surgery, recovery, and post-operative care is $19,797.56, and we are humbly asking for your help to reach that goal. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to giving Callie the life she deserves.
We know there are so many causes out there, and we’re grateful you’ve taken the time to read ours. Callie isn’t just a pet—she’s family. Her tail wags a little less these days, but we believe, with your help, we can see her run free again.
Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser with your network. Your kindness can help turn her pain into play again.
From the bottom of our hearts—thank you.
With gratitude,
Carol & Family
