Hi everyone! Thanks for checking out my story. My name is Caroline, and right now I'm in a spot where I need to refinance the home I share ownership of with my kid's father, so that the home is no longer in both of our names.

 

In order to qualify for this refinancing, my fiancé and I need to pay off $3000 (no longer just $1500) in outstanding debt. This is very much a privileged problem, but if we are not able to refinance, we will be forced to sell.

 

My daughter is 13 and, like most kids, has had a tough time the last couple of years with everything going on in the world outside our home. I am not sure she could bear the stress of having to move from the home she was born in. And the housing market here even for rentals is VERY slim pickings. The cost of a rental will easily double my monthly expenses or more.
